The Impala
The next day we came across the dogs staring longingly at a dead Impala floating in a large river channel. Our guides thought the pack may have chased it over the cliff, possibly intentionally, as they hunted earlier in the day. Fearsome of crocs, they stayed on the bank. Every so often a dog would dig fervently before looking up to see if it had brought the antelope any closer.
