Crimson-rumped Toucanet
We kicked-off our Colombian bird-fest in the cloud forests of the Western Andes. Our lodge's garden was adorned with hummingbird feeders and bananas so attracted squadrons of unfeasibly gorgeous birds. Hummingbirds whirred past our heads at a vast rate of knots while tanagers, thrushes and this striking toucanet hit the fruit.
