Burrowing Owl
Having proper fallen in love with Colombia during my first visit, I couldn't wait to return. So, in early '25, I was back and on the trail of the legendary Harpy Eagle (swoon...).
We spent several hours driving to the forested foothills of the Serranía de La Macarena mountains, much of it in 4x4s, coming across this owl as we bumped along the track.
